PURER – Argentium’s 940 grade sets a new purity standards for silver. Argentium is always purer than traditional sterling silver.
BRIGHTER – Argentium silver is brighter than platinum, white gold and traditional sterling. It is the whitest of them all.
LONGER LASTING SHINE – Argentium silver is low maintenance, easy to care for and simple to clean. Argentium is tarnish resistant. If needed, Argentium can be polished with a polishing cloth. It is not recommended to use "dip" silver cleaners with Argentium.
RESPONSIBLE SILVER – All Argentium is made from reclaimed silver and its sources are guaranteed by Argentium International Ltd.
The unique properties of Argentium make this metal a dream to work with. It welds flawlessly and is ideal for fusing techniques. It offers excellent form-ability in its soft state and will work harden beautifully to create jewelry pieces that are stronger. It can also be age-hardened to make it more durable, able to take a brighter, more long lasting shine.
Our jump rings follow the American Wire Gauge (AWG), also known as Brown and Sharpe (B&S). All sizes listed are inside diameter (I.D.), which corresponds to the size of the mandrel onto which the wire is wound. Use these I.D.'s as a guide, not an absolute, as springback can occur.
The wire used to make our jump rings is of extremely high quality and made using an IOS-Certified production process. However, like all wire, there may be slight tolerances in size. Wire diameter may vary up to 0.03mm (0.0012”) larger or smaller than the listed size.
Occasionally you might get a misshapen ring or an end cut half ring. To account for this, we put extra rings in every bag.
