    Anodized Aluminum Mixes

These mixes are designed to be a mix and to give you a variety of color to work with or to create a unique piece of "jump ring stew”. Occasionally we will throw a few limited quantity colors into a mix to enhance the mix. They are a surprise treat and not to be expected every time or to be found with our regular rings. If you need a set amount of each color we suggest you purchase the individual colors instead of a mix.

Anodized Aluminum Jump Rings - Product Description

Our Anodized Aluminum Jump rings are anodized in house at our sister company, Premier Anodizing & Metal Finishing. This assures that we will never be out of stock of a color and that we have control over our quality.  However, the colors can change slightly from batch to batch. We use a spectrometer to get the closest color matches possible but there still can be some differences, this is normal in the anodizing process. Therefore, you should order enough jump rings to finish your project all at the same time.

Our jump rings are anodized before they are cut so the ends are raw aluminum however with the coating thickness we use and with the thin blades we cut our jump rings with, if you close the rings properly the seam can not be seen.

Jump Ring Weight - Anodized Aluminum Jump rings are lighter weight than Enameled Copper Jump rings. The coating is fairly hard but it can be scratched with steel.

FDA Approved - The anodizing process we use is FDA approved for cookware. Premier Anodizing uses only organic dyes and is rated non-hazardous.

Anodized Aluminum Jump Rings - Specifications

Our jump rings follow the American Wire Gauge (AWG), also known as Brown and Sharpe (B&S). All sizes listed are inside diameter (I.D.), which corresponds to the size of the mandrel onto which the wire is wound. Use these I.D.'s as a guide not an absolute as springback can occur.

    2. Better than expected star rating

Posted by Angie on Sep 5th 2017

I have been making my own jumps rings for a while. I had a project that I didn't have time to make them, so I bit the bullet and paid for already made rings. I can't believe how much easier it is to work with these rings. I have changed my mind on getting by as cheaply as I can. The time I saved more than made up for the cost.

    4. Beautiful! star rating

As always, the rings are absolutely beautiful! The quality of the rings is superb. Weave Goy Maille will always be my main supplier of rings.

    5. Not even close to previous order. star rating

Posted by Jodi Carpnter on Mar 15th 2017

The rings in this order are thicker and the colors do not come close to matching what I ordered the first time. The dark blue is not even in the mix and the dark purple is a pinkish purple which there are only about 25 rings in all four bags combined. I am working on a project and now have to figure out how incorporate them without the colors I was using and for the size difference as well. Very unhappy with this order.

    6. Very good product star rating

Posted by David Davis on Feb 16th 2017

The anodized coating on these is very durable and quality. It gives them a feel that seem softer on the skin and easy to work with.

    7. Gorgeous Mix! star rating

Posted by Karen Bellitto on Dec 12th 2016

This mix is a gorgeous combination of colors. I am looking forward to using it in some byzantine chokers ;-)
