Our Jump rings are anodized before they are cut so the ends are raw aluminum however with the coating thickness we use and with the thin blades we cut our Jump rings with, if you close the rings properly the seam can not be seen.

Our Anodized Aluminum Jump rings are anodized in house at our sister company, Premier Anodizing & Metal Finishing. This assures that we will never be out of stock of a color and that we have control over our quality.  However, the colors can change slightly from batch to batch. We use a spectrometer to get the closest color matches possible but there still can be some differences, this is normal in the anodizing process. Therefore, you should order enough jump rings to finish your project all at the same time. FDA Approved - The anodizing process we use is FDA approved for cookware. Premier Anodizing uses only organic dyes and is rated non-hazardous.

Jump Ring Weight - Anodized Aluminum Jump rings are lighter weight than Enameled Copper Jump rings. The coating is fairly hard but it can be scratched with steel.

Anodized Aluminum Jump Rings - Specifications

Our jump rings follow the American Wire Gauge (AWG), also known as Brown and Sharpe (B&S). All sizes listed are inside diameter (I.D.), which corresponds to the size of the mandrel onto which the wire is wound. Use these I.D.'s as a guide not an absolute as springback can occur.

AWG Wire Measurements
Size Inches (Imperial) Millimeter (Metric)

I bought Candy Apple and Lapis when these first came out and they are perfect! I have bought a lot of WGM jump rings. The coating on these is wonderful, holds up to my pliers (I tend to mark heavier gauge jump rings), durable and true to color. I'll be buying more.

    14g colors

    Jul 11th 2019

I just ordered (and received today) every color WGM currently carries of 14g 1/4 rings. I was a little disappointed when I saw the raspberry & bubblegum, in person they look like the same shade of pink (raspberry has just barely a bit of a little more purple but could easily pass as a different die lot of bubblegum)
And the pictures make honey look more orange than it is. Don't get me wrong I highly recommend WGM and I love their wide selection of colors, can't wait for an orange to be added. But keep this in mind if you're looking to make a rainbow bracelet or something like that, there's just not a big enough difference in the pink colors to make getting them both worth it.
