Two Hole Punch
Two different hole sizes, 1.60mm (1/16") and 2.30mm (3/32") can be made with our metal punch. Made of tool steel, each punch is tempered for making precision holes in soft metal up to 24 gauge!
Screw action makes holes without deforming metal. Can also be used for plastic and other materials. A perfect hole every time!
You will need to anneal your metal if punching through brass thicker than 24g. This is our favorite metalsmithing tool! Just be sure not to tighten down all of the way or it will mark your metal.
Be sure to unscrew the punch all of the way before removing the metal piece or it will pull on the punch and shorten the life of your tool. Don't try to use on any metal that is harder than suggested use.
1.6mm hole fits up to 14g wire. 2.3mm hole fits up to 12g wire.
If the little circle of metal created by the punch has not popped out of the tool, screw the tool down to push out the little scrap, then shake the tool to make it fall out.
