Whirlybird Necklace Kit - Blue

It was an easy piece to build, especially with the included instructions.

Ill just give my experiences with both kits. This the 2nd whirlybird kit I've gotten. The first kit I purchased was the rainbow one. First kit ever, so I made a few mistakes bending the rings. They do give 4 a few extras per color but I messed those up too lol. I reached out to them asking if I could purchase a handful more to finish the project, and then sent me some very quickly for free! This 2nd kit, the blue one, I was able to complete with minimal mistakes, didn't need more extras. The instructions are very good at explaining the steps. I did accidentally somehow reverse the order of colors on the rainbow kit, but it still turned out lovely. The anodizing did come off just a teeny bit but Im chalking that up to user error, holding my pliers too tight. 10/10 company, will be using you guys for all of my chainmail projects.

This was a very easy kit. I'm just getting back into chainmaille after a few years, so I was looking for something exactly like this as a refresher. Mine doesn't really look like the picture, it's more shell-shaped than round, but it's likely I did something wrong, despite the instructions being very easy to understand (that happens to me a lot). It still looks good. It is a tad smaller than I thought it would be, and the blue that was chosen might have been a bit better in a lighter shade- the current blue tends to look black in photos. But overall it's a good kit and I'm very happy with it.

This was a great beginners project. The directions were clear and well written. I enjoyed making it and I love the necklace.
