This is only the second chainmaille project I have done so I was a little intimidated by the intermediate level rating. The instructions and photos were so clear, though, that I was able to complete the project in one day - just in time for Christmas! It is such a cute and festive necklace and the kit had more than enough rings to make a 19” necklace.
I liked this kit. The pattern was well written and the pictures were helpful. I found the weave fun and not complicated. And the necklace came out cute and Christmas lighty which was the point. The only thing I didn't like is that I ran out of "silver" rings before any of the others so I couldn't complete the color pattern the last time. All the other rings I had rings to spear (which was good as I broke one of the yellow ones). So just be careful with the "Silver" rings everyone
The pattern is pretty simple! I had better luck not chaining four out. I only chained two and it was much easier to put the silver circle around the Christmas light. It turned out beautiful! I’m definitely making a bunch of these for Christmas. Kit comes with everything you need!
The kit was sent quickly. I am excited to start this kit. the instruction have step-by-step pictures and written instruction. I know it will be great fun to wear.
Casey Harroouns tutorial is quite easy, very delicate pattern, the rings are great, and the packaging from WGM is the best!
Actually used kit to make 2 bracelets for my granddaughters for the holiday!!
makes a great necklace just a little difficult to put together..
