This is my first time diving into chainmaille. I told myself if I could get through this kit in a reasonable time frame and actually enjoy the process I would allow myself to buy more supplies.
I’ve been wanting to do this for years.
The kit is amazing. I finished in a few hours and loved every second of it. It’s such a good combination of hands on work and pattern recognition. My brain loves it! I ordered more supplies the moment I finished the kit!

This is a good way to learn Byzantine weave. The instructions were clear and helpful. The kit included everything needed (except the pliers) including a paperclip. I would have liked the weave to be a bit tighter, though.
