Titanium is a reactive metal that takes on a variety of brilliant colors when exposed to various levels of electrical current, allowing you to create a rainbow of colors. It is a classified a "white" metal but it has a smoky charcoal grey hue. It's color will vary greatly throughout the metal. This variation is part of the beauty of titanium and not a flaw.
Titanium's natural color is darker and deeper smoky than silver or white gold. While highly polished titanium is somewhat close in color to platinum, it is darker color by several shades and a sandblasted finish produces a gun-metal color.
Our non-anodized titanium ear wires are for those who wish to anodize their own. They are not tumbled or polished after the manufacturing process.
